Mandrel– with leveling, mounting in threaded through holes

Order of operations:

  1. anchor the vibration isolator to the floor or a support structure at the mounting location – make sure that the coaxiality is kept between the mounting mandrels and the holes in the base or the frame of a machine
  2. lower a machine inserting the mounting mandrels into the holes in the base or the frame of the machine
  3. level a machine by turning the lower leveling nuts right – lifting, left – lowering, level evenly on all mounting screws
  4. secure the leveling of a machine by clamping a spring washer on the mounting screws using the upper locknut
  5. verify the leveling of a machine after ca 1 week of operation and correct the leveling if required.

A machine should be leveled at a minimal distance from the floor or the support structure, keeping the mounting mandrels in a vertical position.

SOCKET – without leveling, mounting in unthreaded through holes

Order of operations:

  1. anchor the vibration isolator to the floor or a support structure at the mounting location – make sure that the coaxiality is kept between the mounting sockets and the holes in the base or the frame of a machine
  2. lower a machine on the vibration isolators and insert the mounting screws with spring washers through the holes in the base or the frame of the machine into the mounting sockets of the vibration isolators
  3. screw a machine with the vibration isolators using the mounting screws

A mounting screw cannot stick out inside a vibration isolator – bending limitation, vibration isolator lock.
