Cylindrical vibration isolators are mounted double-sided (connectors, rubber washers) between two parallel surfaces in a horizontal or vertical positions or at an angle, or one-sided (bumpers, stoppers).

They transfer axial compressive and eccentric loads that do not exceed 20% of a given axial compressive load.

The do not transfer tensile or shear loads.
